Pure Portrait is a traveling mini-session studio. We set up in one city at a time, for a few days, then move on. No props, no sets — just clean, classic black-and-white portraiture with nothing in the frame but the people in it.

Every session is built around a single, striking image you'll want on your wall. When we announce a city, dates and booking open together — and they fill fast.

Questions, answered.
Can I get my portraits in color or black and white?
Both. Every session is shot for our signature black-and-white look, and your online gallery lets you choose each image in color or black and white — whichever you love for each frame.
How long is a session, and how many children?
Each mini session runs 15 minutes and includes up to two children. Additional children are welcome for a small added fee.
We have a bigger family — can we still book?
Yes. Families can book two spots back-to-back for a 30-minute mini, which gives you room for more children and a little more time in front of the lens.
When are dates announced?

Pure Portrait is the traveling studio from photographer Ana Brandt. It distills nearly three decades of work into something simple and portable: one studio, a few cities, and black-and-white portraits made to last.
